We’ve been at the Friday market in Leominster today to get people’s thoughts on our initial ideas for Corn Square and the High Street. Leominster has secured £2,000,000 funding through the High Streets Heritage Action Zone programme, and we want local views on how it can best be used.
Have a look here to read more about how Leominster could be changing.
We’ve worked closely with Herefordshire Council, Historic England and Leominster Town Council to develop these first concepts.
The High Streets Heritage Action Zone programme is a £95 million government-funded scheme delivered by Historic England working in partnership with local authorities.
The objective is to ‘kick-start’ regeneration of selected high streets across England; to promote economic, social and cultural recovery; and to unlock their potential for future generations.
For Leominster this means a heritage-led programme to create a more attractive, engaging and vibrant town centre which celebrates its culture and history to boost tourism and economic growth.
We are looking forward to delivering the project with Mcbains, Turley and Link Engineering
