The Queen’s Green Canopy

Our Cadley Park project in Swadlincote has been recognised as part of the Queen’s Green Canopy. As part of the works we helped our client, South Derbyshire District Council, organise the volunteer planting of 3354 trees.

Located in the National Forest, tree planting is key to the transformation of the site into a urban park. The park will be a vibrant green space with a network of walking routes, cycle paths, a learn to ride facility and a pump track.

The Queen’s Green Canopy is a UK-wide tree planting initiative to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022, by inviting people to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee.
