Colvend Street, Glasgow

An amazing 40 new alder and oak trees have been planted along with wildflower turf, new lush planting and retrofitted rainwater swales as part as the re imagining of Colvend Street in Glasgow.

The street which re opened this week, is a great example of a landscape first project. It  is the latest phase of  green infrastructure being delivered by Clyde Gateway in Dalmarnock.  As well as managing the surface water, the new landscape  creates an attractive environment making the adjacent development plots more desirable to investors.
