First phase of Mynydd Isa Campus completes

We recently visited our Mynydd Isa Campus project to check on progress. Located on a steeply sloping site on the edge of Mynydd Isa village near Mold in Flintshire, the first phase has been completed and students and staff will be moving in this week.

The campus co-locates a nursery, primary and secondary school within a mature landscape setting with views over the surrounding countryside. Robertsons construction are now moving on to the second phase which involves demolition of the old school building and completing the rest of the landscape and extensive externals sporting facilities

Working in collaboration with Sheppard Robson Architects for the Welsh Education Partnership Company we developed the landscape designs which take advantage of the sites topography and brings green space into the heart of the site with a series of courtyards that create a strong connection to nature.
