It was great to see the pupils enjoying all external areas of Pear Tree Academy, built by Morgan Sindall and opened in September 2024. The Woodland Garden and outdoor food growing area have proved to be particularly popular!

All ground floor classrooms have direct access to external play spaces, sheltered by colourful canopies that wrap right around the school.
Other outdoor spaces include Active zones such as the outdoor gym and multiuse
games areas (MUGAs), set in a landscape that inspires curiosity and fosters a
lifelong connection with the natural world
