Situated close to Coventry City Centre Godiva Place is a 770 student residential development in the heart of Coventry University’s campus
A characterful and engaging landscape is structured around a central pedestrianised piazza space and a series of courtyard gardens. The landscape weaves between three new finger blocks providing seating opportunities within a peaceful and lush environment. The piazza space is an outdoor extension of the internal social hub area allowing for more active external social and recreational spaces.
The landscape for Godiva places connect into the existing surrounding public realm network, enhancing safety and improving quality in the local area.
The scheme includes vegetated SUDS, retained trees and an architectural lighting scheme that accentuates key landscape features.
Following on from a successful two-stage tender, in which we successfully supported the Client’s Design team, we worked with Galliford Try during the on site phase for the 1.02 hectare site.
